"Let's move now to the last movement of the same symphony. This is sonata form but I think you'll find it has a very light quality, and also if you listen to the main theme at the beginning it has almost an English folk song quality to it. And of course Haydn was in London, and he was trying to attract a British audience," said Dr. Broyles. He played the entire movement, and then commented upon and explained the compositional structure employed by Haydn.
