Life in the Technology Age

Moira Gunn speaks with Tony Smith, author of "Parzival's Briefcase -- Six Practices and a New Philosophy for Healthy Organizational Change." Through the medieval legend of the knight Parzival, Dr. Smith likens our journeys in the technology age to the difficulties of Parzival's search for the Holy Grail. Smith discusses the nature of technological organizations and the importance of maintaining personal balance in these times of rapid change.

Dr. Gunn also speaks with Michael Heim. A classical philosopher, he looks at the attraction that technology, including word processors and computers, has for humans. They discuss his book, "The Metaphysics of Virtual Reality," examining how people can distinguish between virtual reality and real reality.
