Dr. Gunn interviews Dr. TONY MONTGOMERY, Director of Research and Technology Applications at the Superconducting Super Collider Laboratory. Dr. Montgomery describes how the Super Collider will work on its dual track which is 54 miles in circumference. He also discusses the costs, the involvement of the international community, what can be expected from the Super Collider, and the contribution to science education in the United States.

In our second half, Dr. Gunn interviews JOHN MC INTYRE, an architecture manager with the INTEL Corporation on their new Pentium processor chip. McIntyre reviews the progression of the chip family, the new internal architectures which makes this new processor family so powerful and the difference this new chip will make in the market.
