Tom Skelly, an artist teacher-in-residence to prisons, tells SoundPrint how art is a spontaneous activity, and is expressed through tatoos, stories, songs, comedy, poetry, drawings, and brings new ways of thinking to the inmates. Prison art is simular to craft or folk art and continues to be handed down through generations. Inmates share some of their unique art on this edition of SoundPrint.
