Reinventing the CIA
Common Ground interviews Dr. Marvin Ott, Professor of National Security
Policy at the National War College. The Cold War gave the Central
Intelligence Agency a big budget, a certain mystique, and a reason for
existence. In today's world, however, news media such as CNN can gather
information faster than the CIA. This program of Common Ground examines
the CIA's search for a post-Cold War mission and looks at some serious
flaws within the agency.
