Yasser Arafat spoke to the National Press Club the day after the historic White House ceremony where Arafat met, and shook hands with, his historic rivals in Israel. Arafat came to the National Press Club to speak to the world press about his plans for Palestine and his continued elation over the rapid pace of the peace talks.
