Katie from New York City, wanted to make certain that the regal visage of the bald eagle of her Audubon Society shirt appeared in my photograph of her. It's just a shame how more frequently they're seen on t-shirts than they are sighted flying overhead. Like so many others at Earth Day XXV Katie's top concern was action on the Endangered Species Act. And like so many others, Katie recognizes the need to create economic value from natural resources, while not over-exploiting them. Katie pointed out that the Audubon Society had their www site up and running in their tent out in the Mall; an impressive effort, even if it was hard to view the screen in the glaring sun and bands of thunder showers.
