    Awards and Recognition:

    Arts Education Background:

    In addition to his school orchestras, he is in his fifth year as a member of the prestigious Wisconsin Youth Orchestra Program. (This past summer he toured with them to Spain and France).

    Won auditions to attend music camp in Los Angeles, CA to perform on a televised music program (Disney Young Musicians Orchestra) summers of 1993 and 1994. Had the privilege to study with and play for Henry Mancini, Bradford Marsalis, Dudley Moore, John Williams and others through this program.

    Featured on a "Get Real" PBS program in April 1994.

    Solo Performance at the Wisconsin Alliance for Arts Education, Summit Conference IX, February, 1995.

    Won auditions (fall 1995) to perform with the Madison Symphony Orchestra. Performed the 3rd Movement of the Paganini Concerto #1 in D Major (two concerts) at the Madison Civic Center, Oscar Mayer Theater.

    Hobbies: Reading, Mountain Biking, Skiing (downhill - loves the challenge of "Black Diamond" runs), and Go-carting.

    Scholarship: A top academic student from the begining ( he skipped 2nd grade) and has been at or near the top of his middle school class in academics.
