Tuberculosis was nearly wiped out in the United States some years ago.
But now it's back, and is a worsening global epidemic. This week on
Common Ground, a panel of experts describes what may be the greatest
health crisis in the world today. Experts include Frank Lostumbo,
National Council for International Health; Dr. Zeda Rosenberg, National
Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; Dr. Gabriel Schumnis,
Pan-American Health Organization; Dr. Basil Vareldzis, U.S. Agency for
