Ted Morton, Coastal Protection Coordinator for the American Oceans Campaign is from Atlanta, but is now based in Washington D.C. He told me that the home office of the AOC is in Santa Monica, California. He advocates a combination of political action, and education to improve the environment. He told me about the practice of stenciling storm drains to remind people that whatever gets into them, gets into the watercourse they lead to. This is an especially important issue around heavily populated, and environmentally sensitive Chesapeake Bay, where Ted concentrates his work.
